Michael Wozniak

Mike grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania but moved to Minnesota upon graduation from high school. There he attended St. John’s university for undergrad and received his juris doctorate at the Hamline school of law. During law school Mike was a Bakken research fellow where he researched search and seizure law for the university’s criminal law professor. Mike also worked as a student attorney with the Minnesota public Defender’s office and volunteered with the Innocence Project.

Mike moved to Arizona in 2008 to begin a career in criminal defense. Prior to joining Whitney and Whitney he has worked with both the Mohave and Maricopa Public Defender’s Offices as well as with a private criminal defense firm in Phoenix. Since joining Whitney and Whitney in 2012 he has expanded his practice to include family law and personal injury civil litigation, along with dependency work. Mike has represented clients in over a hundred criminal and civil trials, both in state and federal courts.

In his free time Mike enjoys playing sports; including golf, basketball, and softball. He also teaches criminal justice courses at MCC. Mike lives in Lake Havasu City with his wife, Katie, and their dog, Buzz Lightyear.
